Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment programs offer high school students opportunities to take tuition-free college courses on a high school or college campus. These programs offer a challenging curriculum, exposure to college environments, and an opportunity to earn college units while still in high school.

SBVC Early College Program - Bloomington, Colton & Grand Terrace High School
For 8th-grade students wanting to apply, you will need to download the application packet linked below, complete it, and submit it by 4:00 pm on February 23, 2024. If you have any questions, please email:

Early College is not for everyone. Our program is a 4-year commitment, so please make careful considerations when applying to our program. If you submit an application without meeting the minimum requirements, you will not be considered for the program.
* PLEASE NOTE: Only CURRENT 8th-grade students will be considered for the 2028 cohort.

- Student Information Sheet
- Student/Parent contract
- SBVC Authorization to Release Student Information
- Transcript
- Three references
Acceptance/Denial email letters will be distributed before Spring Break.
Articulation
High school students earn college units for a CTE course that has been validated by college faculty as equivalent to their college course. Units are awarded after a student completes the high school CTE course and completes the community college articulation process. Units are posted to their college transcripts as "Credit by Exam".
