Dear Parents and Guardians of Ruth O. Harris Middle School scholars,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the start of a new school year. Whether you are returning or this is your first time at our school, I would like to welcome you to our Bulldog Family!

It is without a doubt that we have an interesting year ahead of us. As we continue to move through these unprecedented and challenging times, I want to assure you that the health and safety of our students and staff is our priority. As a district, we follow guidance issued by the Department of Public Health and state government officials to help ensure the health of our students, staff, and community. 

I am proud to work alongside an outstanding staff, parents, and community members dedicated to the academic achievement and personal success of our Bulldogs. Every adult on our campus is committed to creating a culture of success and ensuring all students feel valued.

Teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff are here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. Do not hesitate to call or email us for any assistance you may need. We are here to help your student reach their future goals.

If you have not signed up for the CJUSD Parent Portal please do so immediately so that you can stay up to date with district and ROHMS events and information as well as your student’s grades, attendance, and contact information. Es con gran placer que les doy la bienvenida al comienzo del nuevo ciclo escolar. Ya sea que estén regresando o si esta es su primera vez en nuestra escuela, ¡deseo darles la bienvenida a nuestra familia de Bulldogs!

Sin duda alguna, este será un año bastante interesante. Conforme avanzamos durante estos tiempos, quiero asegurarle que la salud y seguridad de todos nuestros alumnos y personal son nuestra prioridad. Cómo distrito, seguimos las directrices autorizadas por el Departamento de salud pública y oficiales gubernamentales del estado para ayudar a asegurar la salud de nuestros alumnos, personal y la comunidad. 

Estoy orgullosa de poder trabajar junto con un excelente personal, padres y miembros de la comunidad dedicados al logro académico y al éxito personal de nuestros Bulldogs. Cada adulto en nuestro plantel está comprometido a crear una cultura de éxito y asegurando que todos los alumnos se sientan valorados.

Los maestros, consejeros, administradores, y personal de auxiliar están aquí para ayudarles con cualquier pregunta o preocupación que pueda tener. No dude en llamar o enviarnos un correo electrónico para cualquier ayuda que pueda necesitar. Estamos aquí para ayudar a su alumno a lograr sus metas para el futuro. Si no se ha registrado para el portal de padres del distrito, por favor hágalo inmediatamente para mantenerse al tanto con eventos del distrito o de la escuela, al igual que las notas académicas, asistencia y datos para comunicarnos con ustedes sobre sus alumnos.
