School starts at 8:12 AM. Students are not allowed on campus before 7:30 a.m. Students who eat breakfast need to arrive in the cafeteria no later than 8:00 AM in order to have sufficient time to eat and get to class on time. Bus riders report to the cafeteria as soon as possible.
When your child is absent, please verify their absence by calling the Attendance Office at (909) 580-5020 ext. 8014, or sending a note with your child upon their return to school. Unverified absences will be considered truant. Absences of three days or more may require a doctor's note. If a student is absent 10 consecutive days, without a qualified excuse (i.e. illness with doctor's note), they will be dropped on the 11th day. Absence due to religious observances may not exceed 4 hours per semester. A court appearance by the student will require verification. A family vacation is NOT a qualified excuse for absence. Please try to schedule all appointments after school hours, or when your child is off-track. However, if this is not possible, please have your child attend as much of the school day as possible. Doctor verification may be required.
