  • Parents, want to get involved? Are you willing to give input on decisions about approved classroom reading lists?

  • The CJUSD Secondary Reading Committee is designed for adding teacher requested books to the approved classroom reading list.   The committee will be made of a minimum of 5 members (parents, certificated staff, and classified staff) from Bloomington High School.  

    • Each committee member would read the same book and complete a short Google Form within a month period.  
    • Members would then meet on-site and/or virtually (to be decided by committee) to discuss the book and complete an evaluation form.  The process will be repeated with each book.

    The committee’s membership may be fluid:  new members may be added to the committee and original members may leave.   

     

    The committee is in the beginning stages of development.
