The Bloomington High school Instrumental Music Department strives to expand and solidify the knowledge, technique and skill of all students as musicians; Develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, responsibility and accountability; Foster insight into the mind to create a performance with understanding and meaning; To instill good citizenship by contributing to the cultural life of community through performance at schools, other public places and events; To instill deep love and enjoyment of music that will enrich the student through their lives and help them overcome the challenges as they enter the 21st Century.
