Health Academy and Leadership (HEAL)

  • HEAL Students who take part in the Healthcare Education And Leadership pathway develop up to date knowledge of careers in medical service and receive hands-on training that can be applied immediately following graduation. Along with receiving individualized academic support, students develop skills in leadership, collaboration and professionalism are emphasized.

Culinary Arts and Hospitality

  • culinary Culinary Arts and Hospitality Pathway will prepare students for a wide range of opportunities in the #1 industry found in Southern California.  During each student’s high school courses, they will experience meal planning and preparation and the science and history of foods from around the world.  By their senior year, students will have earned certifications that will provide students a gateway into careers and academic programs beyond Colton High School.

     

     

     


     

Welding

  • welding The Welding pathway will provide a foundation for college as well as employment in the welding field. Students will learn the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) process, the Gas Metal and Flux Cored Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) process and the Oxy-Acetylene Cutting (OFC-A) process. By the end of their senior year, students will have the opportunity to test for their AWS D1.1 Welding Certification
