NJROTC is a citizenship program. As such we participate in a lot of community and school service. This year we logged over 1100 hours of school service – participating in school activities including, Color Guard events, football and track games, flag detail, office aid support, and school clean-up projects. The cadets also completed over 800 hours of community service by volunteering with Vida Life Ministries (providing food to about 240 local families); participated in West Valley Water District’s Earth Day; created over 200 birthday cards for World War II veterans through Soldier’s Angel’s; provided Christmas gifts in the Shop with a Cop program; and many other individually driven cadet community service projects.
