• The Communications Department provides information about the schools and programs of the Colton Joint Unified School District and serves as a liaison between the district and community.

    Our team, led by Communications Director Katie Orloff,  strives to keep our stakeholders up to date on district issues by providing timely information through social media, working with our local and regional media partners (newspaper, radio and television), and directly communicating with community stakeholder groups.

    We also coordinate the Superintendent's Community Cabinet and interact with numerous non-profit, business, educational and government agencies, as well as parents in order to engage our community and promote a culture of academic success in the communities we serve. 

    The Communications Department also houses the district's translation services. We translate thousands of documents for our sites and departments each year to ensure important information is available to all. Are you a CJUSD employee who needs a document translated? Email it to them at translators@cjusd.net and include your site or department and a timeframe of when you need the translation returned to you.
