ADMISSIONS

Enrollments are processed at all school sites.

Before arriving at a school site, please use the Pre-Enrollment portal to complete the enrollment process online. You must be able to upload all the required documents. If you cannot upload documents, complete all other steps on the PRE ENROLLMENT portal and then take the supporting documents to your school site.

CJUSD School Site Directory has the list of all the schools in our district.
- Forms must be completed and signed along with providing the required documents listed on the Checklist Form for the school office to complete an enrollment.
- When completing the Pre-Enrollment online, please ensure all the required documentation is uploaded. You will receive notification from the school office once your enrollment has been completed or if you need to provide more information.

In addition to your completed enrollment via online Pre-Enrollment, the following documents are required:
- Parent/Legal Guardian government issued picture identification card.
- The student’s birth certificate or other verification of student’s proof of age
- The student’s immunization record (see enrollment packet for specific immunization requirements)
- Address verification (utility bill from gas, water, or electric dated within last 30 days).
Enrollment cannot be completed without ALL required documentation being presented at the time of your enrollment or if the Pre Enrollment process is not complete and required documents are not uploaded.

Transfer Requests & Open Transfer Window

Colton Joint Unified School District 2024 - 2025 School Year Open Intra and Inter-District Transfer Window - The window for accepting Intra- and Inter- District Transfers was January 16, 2024 - March 1, 2024.

For families that are interested in applying for an INTER or INTRA District Transfer, the first day to submit a Transfer Application is Tuesday, January 16, 2024, and the last day to submit a transfer is March 1, 2024. All information regarding transfers, transfer applications, and directions for submitting transfer requests can be found on our Transfers page.

For clarification purposes:

An Intra-District transfer is requesting a change from one school within CJUSD to another, by a parent that resides within the CJUSD boundaries.

An Incoming Inter-District transfer is requesting to change from the district of residence, where the parent resides, to a school within the CJUSD boundaries. The parent must go to their district of residence and complete the Inter District Transfer request with the district of residence and then the application will be mailed to CJUSD for review.
