In this District, there shall exist for the purpose of identification and documentation, the title, Secondary Curriculum Council of the Colton Joint Unified School District, hereinafter to be referred to as the Council.

Purpose

The Council serves a three-point purpose.  First, it provides District-wide communication with certificated personnel to the Department of Educational Services.  Conversely, information regarding curriculum can be shared with staff members.  This exchange of ideas and discussion of policy is the primary responsibility of the elected representatives. Members of the Council and volunteers may serve as participants on sub-committees dealing with curriculum-related topics.
